I am 60, have MS, am an avid cook, love making candles (soy) and watching the endless parade of Nature outside my home. I treat the MS with supplements and LDN, I do not use any of the C.R.A.B. MS meds, we don't get along well. I was married for 13 years, we were together for 15. We are now divorced. Sad, that. I do still love him, but ONLY as the father of my baby. Better to keep it civil, hurts the child(ren) less that way, but is oh-so-hard to do sometimes.

hunt

I just feel so depressed right now. We're been house hunting, it seems, forever, had several that we *thought* were going to work out and everything so far has fallen through. I just don't know what we're going to do. This place is going to be prohibitive to heat, George won't really let us winterize like we should, and we've nowhere else to go. Rent's here are out of sight, and we just cannot afford anything. We're paying right at about our limit as it is. Nothing came from Rob's "freebie" he did at a local church. The place in Herkimer? Fell through as well. I'm sorry to sound like such a downer but right now I just don't see a way through.
This house...is literally falling apart from the vibration from the trains. There are trains that go almost right through the front yard and literally right through the back, with nothing between us and them but a chain-link fence. And since there are roads nearby, the train horns go off all the time. And they blow right when they are level with the house. My nerves are getting shot. The house is shaking right off the foundation, we have seen it shift even since we moved in. There is a train holding depot about 1/8 mile away, and they park engines there and run them nonstop, so there's a constant low rumble. The landlord had an estimator come in, he said the only way to save the house is to jack it up, replace the entire foundation and resettle it. Yeah, sure. Geo said we can stay the Winter then he's going to demolish the house, since the property is worth more without the house then with it. What I do not understand is, right after telling us this, the same day even, he came through with a realtor! I wonder if he understands about "full disclosure", it sure didn't *sound* like it when he was showing her through *MY* part of the house.
And now, to boot, there's Another Hurricane! Growing as we watch, when I went to bed it was a cat 2, when I woke up it had increased to a cat 4! And still time to get even stronger!! New Ager's have been saying for years that the "Earth changes are coming" Well, newsflash...They're Here.

TA-DAAA!!!

Ok, I wanted to write about this yesterday but I had a non-day so I really didn't do much but play Age of Mythology (AoM).
Sunday...Rob and I were playing AoM together, and the action was intense...suddenly Robbin comes bursting into the room, leaps in front of us and shouts TA-DAAA!!!
We both looked up at him.
I recovered the power of speech first, and somehow calmly asked Rob "Ok, are you going to walmart to get him a haircut or am I?" I got the vote, left the rest of the game to Rob and off to walmart we went. Well the hairdresser could not do much with what was left, so he now has a very short haircut (Pics to follow)
This was Robbin's first "professional" haircut. WAAHH!!! He looks SO different!!! I just went to take pics but my battery is dead so as soon as it charges up I'll post them. At walmart there was a woman getting her hair done. She said I should teach him a lesson and make him go to school like that.
What I said "He's homschooled"
What I *thought* "Why? So the other children can laugh at him and be even more cruel then we all know they can be? What a great idea! And such a good example for the littke tyke!" *sheesh* I feel sorry for *her* kids!
And here I was congratulating myself on Not having to go to walmart...since it seems I have been there every Sunday this month for one reason or another...yeah...riiiight...
And Rob won the AoM game.

stuff

Well it seems we won't be moving to Pa but *might* be going to Herkimer NY. The place in Pa was great but the taxes would eat us up. However, we have a friend in Herkimer who might be moving and is going to talk to the owner about us taking over their place, which would work for us! For one thing. the rent is the same as here but includes heat!!! This place is going to cost a mint to heat this winter, it is so big and drafty...that place is a 3 br. upstairs 1/2 house. Still big but manageable. And only minutes from the Herkimer mines! So Rob can go dig next year. Well probably be moving after they close the mines this season, but they open in April and we can wait! I won't know for sure until after they talk to the owner though, so don't hold your breath LOL!!!!

MS

I'm going to write this, and there will be typos, because it is late and I am tired, but oh well...
I Bless my MS. Why? Because of it I have met So many wonderful people that I would have never met without it. I am SO fortunate that mine is quite quiet, I have not gotten the symptoms So many MS'ers have, I can still drive, walk unaided, basically my main symptom is the crushing fatigue and occasional numbness. I know I have the least intrusive of all the MS's, and for that I am grateful beyond words.
I am also am Empath, and the world lately has been hard to take. But we manage. Last night my dreams had me in military "fatigues" (funny, the word "fatigue" coming up in such different meanings) I think the attention paid to the New Orleans disaster has obliterated the fact that almost 1,000 people lost their lives last week in Iraq because of a rumored bomber. I hurt for them. I hurt for the people in New Orleans. I hurt for us all. The "new agers" spoke of the "Earth changes" well...they're HERE.
