I am 60, have MS, am an avid cook, love making candles (soy) and watching the endless parade of Nature outside my home. I treat the MS with supplements and LDN, I do not use any of the C.R.A.B. MS meds, we don't get along well. I was married for 13 years, we were together for 15. We are now divorced. Sad, that. I do still love him, but ONLY as the father of my baby. Better to keep it civil, hurts the child(ren) less that way, but is oh-so-hard to do sometimes.

Happy Anniversary!

Today is our 10th wedding anniversary! And jimmy is GONE, moved lock, stock, and futon. And dog. He didn't even say good-bye. Oh well! *giggle* Our home is OUR home!!
Rob went out and got some groceries, He is making dinner. When we first got together, and I went up to Northern NY to his house to get him and bring him to live with me, he made Chicken Cordon Bleu for me. Tonight, he is making Chicken Cordon Bleu for me! He even bought a bottle of bubbly! And this weekend Unkle Mikey, Tara and some other friends are coming over to have a BBQ/Party for us. He got a porcelain statue of a man and a woman holding each other as my gift. How sweet can it get? How can I be so much in love after all these years and all the things that have happened? It just seems to get better and better. What a fabulous day to be ALIVE!!

Happy Ending

I think everyone knows I have been pretty malcontent with our boarder lately. And it's not all his fault, he wants to live the life of the swinging batchelor and have parties and sleep (?) with women of questionable repute and hang with not-so-nice people and do illegal tattoos and gamble and do drugs and drink to excess, and he should have every right to do just that if he so choses. However, we are a family unit and OUR idea of a party is a backyard BBQ with a few friends, and we do not like those people Jimmy has been "hanging" with nor do we want them in our home, nor should we have to have them here. So a parting of the ways is the best solution for all. Not to mention that all the carousing he is doing is causing him to not be able to afford to live up to his financial commitments with us. We have had to carry him for utilities and/or rent every month since he's been here. Oh he pays some, but not all. We can use that room for someone who Will own up to their bills and pay on time, and presumably be a more fittting person for our lifestyle.
So we told him it was time for him to find alternative accomodations. He wasn't all that happy, but Spirit took care of that in the most unexpected and unusual way.
He met someone who collects meteorites. Jimmy makes knives and doo-dads from meteorites. This guy has a workshop *with* an apartment...an available apartment. And he'll let Jimmy move in, and charge him quite a bit less then he's (not) paying here! And he'll be able to walk to work. He's waiting for his next paycheck to move, he needs the $ for deposits and all.
And his dog...well we don't want him to stay here, for one thing a 200 lb Akita is no ankle biter, it is a killer, and he *has* killed. If he gets off his lead he will kill every chicken and rabbit within range. So, Spirit has found a home for him, too! There's a guy that works with Jimmy that has a farm, and on that farm he has a kennel...E - I - E - I - O! And he is willing to take Thunder and give him a new home on the farm. See, we want to do homeschool activities here, what with all the critters it would be fun for kids, and we don't want an unsuspecting child to go up to Thunder and be bitten. No dog, no liability, and most importantly no injured child!
Now tell me, could we make this all up? Nope! I know friends have been praying for me, and I have been as well, I've used a few...items...done some candle work...and all in all Spirit has been sufficiently "nudged" to make this happen in such a way that everyone will be happy. Jimmy will be able to spend time with whomsoever he wishes, We will not have to put up with them, or him, and doggy will be free to run. And we will free up that room for someone who will be happy here and we will be happy with. All in all a....Happy Ending!
