I am 60, have MS, am an avid cook, love making candles (soy) and watching the endless parade of Nature outside my home. I treat the MS with supplements and LDN, I do not use any of the C.R.A.B. MS meds, we don't get along well. I was married for 13 years, we were together for 15. We are now divorced. Sad, that. I do still love him, but ONLY as the father of my baby. Better to keep it civil, hurts the child(ren) less that way, but is oh-so-hard to do sometimes.

Now, I ask you...

is THIS what one expects to see out their window the morning of APRIL 9th?!?!?!?!?
Yes, we got more snow last night, to the tune of about 5-6"! Our truck became a farm truck yesterday, then it excreted upon the place of repose (i.e. shit the bed) Of late: the spring sprang, the power steering pump stumped, and now the whole exhaust system is in the driveway! Not worth it to fix, so we've put the van back on the road and the truck will be used for farm work only. Oh, and awesome news, Unkle Mikey has agreed to come up and help with the construction of the great room! We get at least 6 weeks of our dearest and oldest friend! Not to mention Robbin's Godfather! Now we have to hope all this snow melts so they can pour the cement base...even the locals are grumbling and bitching about it lol...Louie was saying "snow! What good is it? Just melts and makes mud! Snow! bah!" One of the good things about small towns is the neighbors are awesome...Louie plows us out, and when the UPS driver called because he had a delivery that was fairly heavy and he didn't want to walk it all the way down the driveway (1/4 mile of mud, he was afraid his truck would get stuck) I told him Rob was in town, in his office across from Kellys..he said "Oh, the liquor store? I can leave it there..." and he did. So now everyone in Florence knows we got a new gas space heater...seems drinking and hunting are the main pastimes 'round cheer...so everyone passes through the liquor store...Another small town store, also involving the liquor store...I got some vitamins in the mail. Rob accidentally dropped the package while in town. He remembered it, and was going back on his bike (this was in summer) for it. Meantime, someone found them and took them into Kellys. The gal who works there, well, her brother is the local gendarmerie'...Rob, on the way to town, wizzed past the local law (the brother of the gal that works at the liquor store)...Here I am in the home, and a few minutes after Rob left, the police pull in...I think OMG, what happened? Was there an accident? No, the local law was delivering my package! Even though it only had a p.o. box address, they knew who it was for! He said he saw Rob on the way and would have stopped and given it to him but he was going too fast so he brought it here...now, could THAT happen in a city? Any city? Nope...another reason to love it here! Yes, the winters are brutal, they tell me this is not the norm, that by now the farmers usually are planting...but aside from the winter, the perks that come from country living are priceless!
