April Fool's day....
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times..that characterizes April Fool's day for me. It was on April Fool's day 1997 that I found out that I was pregnant...at 42! I was almost 3 months along, too! So I had no first trimester jitters...by the time I knew about it, it was waaay too late for that. SO I spent the rest of the pregnancy with my hands on my growing tummy, chanting "Happy Baby, Healthy Baby" over and over about a zillion times, each day bringing me closer to the Miracle that is Robbin. He was born full term, BTW...
And then again, it was on April Fool's day, 2004 that I got my diagnosis of MS.
So now I just try to get through the day with no surprises. SO far today...Rob just went out to get Bri to finish fixing up the Van for our move, and a few minutes later there were sirens and ambulances. I am waiting for him to get home and praying for his safety.
I am also waiting for a kindness from a friend. I am still hoping for a positive day with no nasty surprises. I'm sure he'll be ok...he HAS to be...Come on, Rob, come home so I can breathe again.
Ok, he's home. breathe.
