I am 60, have MS, am an avid cook, love making candles (soy) and watching the endless parade of Nature outside my home. I treat the MS with supplements and LDN, I do not use any of the C.R.A.B. MS meds, we don't get along well. I was married for 13 years, we were together for 15. We are now divorced. Sad, that. I do still love him, but ONLY as the father of my baby. Better to keep it civil, hurts the child(ren) less that way, but is oh-so-hard to do sometimes.

April Fool's day....

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times..that characterizes April Fool's day for me. It was on April Fool's day 1997 that I found out that I was 42! I was almost 3 months along, too! So I had no first trimester the time I knew about it, it was waaay too late for that. SO I spent the rest of the pregnancy with my hands on my growing tummy, chanting "Happy Baby, Healthy Baby" over and over about a zillion times, each day bringing me closer to the Miracle that is Robbin. He was born full term, BTW...
And then again, it was on April Fool's day, 2004 that I got my diagnosis of MS.
So now I just try to get through the day with no surprises. SO far today...Rob just went out to get Bri to finish fixing up the Van for our move, and a few minutes later there were sirens and ambulances. I am waiting for him to get home and praying for his safety.
I am also waiting for a kindness from a friend. I am still hoping for a positive day with no nasty surprises. I'm sure he'll be ok...he HAS to be...Come on, Rob, come home so I can breathe again.
Ok, he's home. breathe.
