I am 60, have MS, am an avid cook, love making candles (soy) and watching the endless parade of Nature outside my home. I treat the MS with supplements and LDN, I do not use any of the C.R.A.B. MS meds, we don't get along well. I was married for 13 years, we were together for 15. We are now divorced. Sad, that. I do still love him, but ONLY as the father of my baby. Better to keep it civil, hurts the child(ren) less that way, but is oh-so-hard to do sometimes.

Spring?

Well, they TELL me Spring is coming. I try to believe it...the days Are getting warmer, now they're just warm enough to melt some of the snow by day...enough that when it freezes again at night our driveway becomes a 1/4 mile long skating rink! Rob often has to park out on the road and walk home with the mail or groceries! But the chickens are starting to lay a few eggs (we've gotten 5 nice brown ones so far), and my seed order came from Fedco, so it Must be on it's way!
I am still trying to get that Jazzy power chair, haven't heard back but it's still early in the process. I had to go see the Dr again to do more paperwork for it. While I was there they took blood (all my levels are good, at least inside I am healthy as a horse!) and they took X-rays of my ankle, hence the handy-dandy air splinter. What I haven't figured out is, How can they tell from an X-ray that my ankle tendons are weak? How does an X-ray depict strength?
Rob's "career" with ASKNOW is taking off, so he is getting an office in town so he can do more readings and have some quiet for them. This house is awesome, but the acoustics are also awesome, so when he tried to do them upstairs, he hears everything going on down here, and when he tries in the basement, he hears Robbin and I walking, and when I am using the walker it is "thump thump thump...." so for $300 a month he is getting a nice, semi-furnished 2 br apartment right in town. It is upstairs, and very quiet. It is also our backup home, so when we decide to so any remodeling here, we can go stay there. There is some plumbing that needs to be fixed and Rob wants to remodel the kitchen so that there is an island in it, that will make it more functional for me when I get the Jazzy...so now he can do those projects and not have to worry about not having water or being able to cook while he is doing them. Although it IS upstairs, he said that with the splint and his help there should be no problem getting me up there.
I am also going online there, our hope is that we get completely financially able to go off "the dole" (my SSI, which will go down the more $ we make)

Hi, I apologize for the 'form' letter but it is the easiest way to pass word most quickly.

I am thrilled with the response to the MS Blogger project started at my blog, Brass and Ivory. I appreciate all those who took time to post about it on their blogs. I have discovered even more bloggers who have MS, whether they blog about the MS or not. A new listing is available at MS Blogger Community Project Revised.

Secondly, I'm looking for submissions for next week's Carnival of MS Bloggers. Information can be found at the end of each issue archived at Carnival of MS Bloggers. What I'm looking for this week are posts related to creativity. I discovered so many new bloggers who quilt, or knit, or crochet, or write, or photograph, etc. Basically, what do you do to express yourself?

Thank you so much for participating.

Lisa Emrich

P.S. I also apologize for any increased 'spamming' of blog comments due to my growing linklist of bloggers with MS. For that I am sincerely sorry.
