Today
Today I joined Twitter
And made a new Yahoo group, for networking.
Talked to Robbin, he asks daily how my WoW toons are doing, he has been waiting for me to reach level 55 so I can make him a Death Knight, and today I did. He won't know about it till tomorrow, but I know he will be excited. I named it after him. Well, sorta, after his nickname.
The other day he told me that if he had a car he would get a bumper sticker that said "My Mom has MS". And yesterday he said that he wants to find a cure for MS, no matter what it takes, no matter how dangerous. Then just as I was getting all verklempt, came the reality check...he said "I hope it doesn't kill you, but if it does, look on the bright side, no more MS!" *thud* Only, and I mean ONLY, a kiddo could come up with that...it is very intense for him, my having MS. I really wish I could just wish it away, I know if HE could it would have been gone a long time ago. One silver lining to MS is the children of MS parents tend to be more compassionate, and the would certainly could benefit from more compassion. Robbin has always been my gentle giant (he is, at 11, as tall as I am) and he is showing strong signs of becoming a compassionate person.
